About Divyanshu Agarwal

Divyanshu is 26 years old, a Chartered Accountant by qualification, and someone who has spent the last five years doing things that most people his age have not.

He started at Navi Limited in November 2021 as a finance associate, working closely with Founder and Chairman Sachin Bansal on strategic initiatives across the organisation. Over the next few years, he moved through roles that touched finance, product, HR, legal, and fundraising. By July 2025, he was leading Navi’s UPI Business and Growth function, a role that required him to build partnerships, scale operations, and keep execution tight in a space where things move fast and margins for error are small.

He was also part of Navi’s DRHP process and private equity fundraising, which means he understands what it takes to build a business that holds up under scrutiny, not just one that looks good on paper.

Before Navi, he trained at Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants in Kolkata, handling statutory audits of large listed companies. He holds a B.Com (Hons.) degree from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.

His Role at Zelio

Zelio is at an interesting point. The IPO is done. Two new manufacturing plants are being set up, one in Cuttack, Odisha and one in Coimbatore. The dealer network is at 350+ outlets across 20+ states. The rider base has crossed 2 lakh.

The challenge now is not whether to grow. It is how to grow in a way that does not break the things that got us here.

That is where Divyanshu comes in. His focus will be on making sure execution keeps up with ambition, that the new plants come online smoothly, that distribution deepens in the right markets, and that the products we build continue to earn the trust of the people riding them every day.

Kunal Arya, Managing Director, Zelio E-Mobility, said:

“Divyanshu brings a strong understanding of both finance and business operations. He has seen how to build and scale in fast-moving environments. As we expand, the need is for sharper execution and long-term thinking, and he is well equipped to take that forward.”

On his appointment, Divyanshu Agarwal said:

“Zelio is at a stage where growth needs to be backed by consistent execution and clarity in direction. The focus will be on strengthening the core, expanding reach in a measured way and building products that customers can rely on every day. The opportunity is significant, and the effort will be to build it with discipline.”
